Driva
Building a Scalable Framework for High-Impact Social and Display Ads
- Paid Social
- Display Ads
- Campaign System

Overview
Driva is an innovative Australian finance comparison platform that helps customers compare a range of loans—from vehicle finance to personal loans—and find a suitable lender. I created a flexible ad template system that enabled rapid campaign launches, reduced production turnaround times, and strengthened brand consistency—helping increase average click-through rates.
Key Results
- PerformanceHigher brand consistency lifted average click-through rates by 14%.
- Turnaround TimeReduced campaign turnaround time by 96%.
- Output VolumeIncreased ad variation output by 300%.

The Problem
The existing campaign process created three key challenges:
Slow Production
Each new campaign took three to four days to design and approve.
Inconsistent Branding
Different designers used mismatched fonts, colours, and button styles.
Channel Fatigue
Scaling assets across Facebook, Instagram, Google Display, and LinkedIn was messy.

The Design Strategy
Design Tokens
We locked down brand colors, typography scales, and button radiuses so team members could not break visual guidelines.
Modular Layouts
We split each ad into fixed zones: a hook (headline), a visual (image or video), and a call to action (CTA button).
Multi-Size Artboards
We used responsive layout constraints in our design tools to automatically resize assets for landscape, square, and vertical placements.
Key Components and Visual Hierarchy
I designed a single master design system featuring four key components:
- Hook: A powerful visual element or opening statement that captures the customer's attention within the first second.
- Clear Value Proposition: A straightforward and intuitive explanation of the product's core benefits or solutions.
- Social Proof: Trust-building elements such as reviews, ratings, and user testimonials.
- Call to Action (CTA): A button or phrase that clearly directs the next step, such as “Get your pre-check” or “Get a free quote”.

Design Asset Library
I created flexible brand-pattern placements using Driva’s established colour system, ensuring visual consistency across multiple social and display ad formats.

Modular Design for Dynamic Creative Optimisation
Establish a simple and clear visual hierarchy on display ads for A/B testing and performance (click-through rate or conversion rate).
- Modular Layouts: Split ads into fixed zones: a hook (headline), a visual (imagery and a graphic pattern), and a call to action (CTA button).

The Validation-to-Scale Workflow
To maximise efficiency, I created a scalable production system built around two principles:
Shared Image System
Consolidated campaign visuals into a single source, eliminating separate assets for each placement.
Multi-Size Artboards
Used responsive layout constraints to adapt creatives across landscape, square, and vertical formats.

From Testing to Scalable Rollout
I built a cross-platform testing framework that kept messaging and CTAs consistent while testing different visual directions. The winning creative was then transformed into a flexible template that scaled across eight standard display sizes, enabling faster rollouts without manual redesign.
Step 1 — Test
Built a cross-platform framework that kept messaging and CTAs consistent while testing different visual directions.
Step 2 — Scale
Turned the winning creative into a flexible template covering eight display sizes without manual resizing.
