Stay curious to be a better designer

I used to think having my own design philosophy was just like the florid language in a book. However, the longer I work as a designer, the more I realise it serves as a guiding compass to help me find my motivation.

For example, whenever I lose motivation and need to reconnect with myself, this crucial question anchors me: Why did I become a designer in the first place, and what is my true passion apart from material benefits like career reputation, social status, or money?

My answer is that a great designer observes the world with insatiable curiosity, much like a watchful blue cat taking in its surroundings. Through the eyes, my design can be deeply rooted in user empathy, intuitive functionality, and continuous refinement.

While no job guarantees perfect conditions, and I may not 100% resonate with every problem, I always strive to remain curious. As a dedicated designer, I actively empathise with both user and business needs, transforming their pain points into solutions.
